We reached out to Mike McDevitt from Full Range PT & Rehab Services to be our October Customer of the Month, and he was more than happy to answer our questions! Check out his responses below:

Tell us a little about your business. What services do you provide?

We provide Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapy services.

Where are you located?

We are located throughout the Greater Philadelphia area, providing house calls to patients that have difficulty getting out.  We also have two outpatient clinics located in Drexel Hill and in Valley Forge.

Our clients are small business owners and individual home owners. How can your company help our clients?

Our goal is to help everyone maintain a healthy and active lifestyle.  We help patients stay active in sports, work, and life.  Our house call division also helps folks maintain an independent lifestyle as they venture through the changes of aging.

What are some events or charities your company has been involved in to improve your community?

We are proud of our community involvement!  We take part in the Chester Community Physical Therapy Clinic, a clinic for uninsured and underinsured folks of the Chester community.   I am a member of the Board of the Upper Darby Arts and Education Foundation and a member of the Delaware County Advisory Council for Surrey Services for Seniors.  We have also developed a scholarship for swimmers on the Lansdowne YMCA Marlins Swim Team.

What are some advantages of being involved in a small business as opposed to a larger one?

Large or small, the point is to give back and make a positive impact.  We are excited to be able to put the patient first and be on the forefront of program development for proactive and preventive therapy services.

What differentiates you from other companies in your industry?

First and foremost, everything that we do is one-on-one!  Our patients get individualized treatment every session.  Additionally, we are therapist owned and operated allowing for truly passionate leadership that understands the ins and outs of day to day operations.  Lastly, we are innovative in our delivery approach and always looking for ways to maintain and encourage active and healthy living.

Where do you see your business in three years?

Great question!  In 3 years, I’d love for our outpatient division to have a 3rd location with a fitness component.  For our in-home division, I’d love to offer services throughout Southeastern PA, including all of the 5 counties.

What’s the most rewarding part of serving your customers?

Our clients are truly taking control of their life!  Whether is be following a surgery, illness, injury, and other aches and pain, our clients are gaining knowledge, strength, flexibility, and achieving their goals!  Ultimately, helping others achieve their goals is about as good as it gets!

What’s your greatest accomplishment as a business in the past year?

In the last year, our greatest accomplishment has been the creation of the Full Range Scholarship awarded to two swimmers of the Lansdowne YMCA Marlins.  The swimmers went through an application process to display their work ethic and goal setting strategies.
